SuperKnova

Queer Pop Artist

Ellie Kim, aka SuperKnova, is a Korean-American, transgender musician who creates Queer Pop, a unique sound that incorporates electronic drums, moody synths, and dreamy guitar solos. She writes about identity, queerness and the struggle to be your authentic self.

Her music has received significant praise and has been featured on Showtime’s Work In Progress, Epic Games Fortnite, Sephora Sounds, MTV, GoldFlakePaint and multiple Spotify editorial playlists.

A talented multi-instrumentalist, she produces and records all of her own music and builds many of her songs live on-stage through looping and live instruments.

She performs locally in NYC where she is based and nationally at venues, universities and festivals across the country.
